That's right people today we will be making a... Cinnamon cake. Yum. This doesn't have to be cinnamon, you can change the spice to whatever you want.
Ingredients for the cake:
Four medium sized eggs
250 g of self-raising flour
250 g of butter
250 g of caster sugar
2 tsp of Cinnamon
Ingredients for the icing:
250 g of butter
350 g of icing sugar
Anything you want to put on top (e.g. Silver balls, marshmallows)
Apparatus
Blender (or a whisking utensil)

Cake tin
Grease-proof paper (if you can get the ones shaped like a cake tin YAY!)
Method (the fun bit):
Step 1: Add the sugar and butter to the blender and blend until its light and fluffy (after please try to actually save some of the yummy sugar-butter mix for the cake batter-I know it's hard)

Step 2: add eggs ONE at a time. Add one then whisk and so on. (I mucked this bit up so I don't have any helpful photos). Once you've added the eggs add the flour and cinnamon (I may of added a little too much, normally I would start again but I just needed to get this done)
Step 3: Put the delicious cake batter into a cake tin. Then bake for about 1/2 (that's how long mine took) and leave it to cool. It should come out looking yummy and like this:
Step 4: Icing making time. Put the butter and the icing sugar in a blender and then mix them together until its light and fluffy (cooking uses a lot of light and fluffy, doesn't it, hmmm)
Step 5: After your cake has cooled (mine took the best part of an hour) you can then spread the icing on and decorate. If you don't leave it to cool the icing will melt on the cake. (Sorry guys, I am literally the worst at icing so you have to excuse my horrible work).
NAME: Simple Cinnamon Cake
DIFFICULTY: easy
TASTE: Considering I added way too much cinnamon. It was really YUM
Bye guys xx
